Kansas City

On June 11-12 Andy and I presented at “Risky Behaviors in Teens – Prevention is the Key” in Kansas City, Missouri.

For this two and a half hour presentation we shared ways in which we improve the health behaviors of our students through engaging instruction. For the first time our session notes were distributed in the form of an interactive iBook (and PDF for non-Apple users).

One area that we talked about is our use of podcasts as an assessment tool and a medium through which the voices of our students can reach a wider, more authentic audience.

We asked attendees to record their answers to a number of questions and we made a podcast with their responses. Here it is.
